Fulham have made an approach to Borussia Dortmund regarding a move for Sebastien Haller, according to The Athletic.

However, although the club have given Fulham permission to hold talks with Haller's representatives, the move is apparently not going to happen.

The report claims that Haller has decided to stay at Dortmund, given the short time left of the transfer window and the fact that he's currently representing Côte d'Ivoire at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Haller has fallen behind Niclas Füllkrug in the pecking order up front for Borussia Dortmund this season, making 14 appearances with two goals to his name.
