Sancho thanks Dortmund for believing in him after scoring against PSV

Jadon Sancho has expressed his gratitude to Borussia Dortmund after his key performance in the win over PSV on Wednesday.
Jadon Sancho gave Borussia Dortmund the perfect start against PSV on Wednesday, scoring after just three minutes to help the Black and Yellows to a 2-0 win and a place in the Champions League quarterfinals.

Speaking after the game, the Englishman was understandably delighted.

"We knew it was going to be tough but we always had the advantage because we were in front of our home fans. From the dressing room team talk, I knew we were on it. We stuck to our game plan from the first whistle to the last. I'm just happy we got the win," Sancho told TNTSports.

Commenting on his goal, Sancho said that he was happy to repay Dortmund for their faith in him and bringing him back to the club.

"It was like a relief. I just wanted to have a good start to the game and there's no better feeling than that. I'm grateful I got the goal for the team. I've always got a special place for Borussia Dortmund: this is where I made my name. I've got to be grateful to them and my team-mates for believing in me," he said.
