Borussia Dortmund will be determined to book a place in the Champions League quarter-finals when they take on PSV at Signal Iduna Park on Wednesday night for the second leg of their last-16 tie.

After a 1-1 draw in the first leg, Dortmund are optimistic going into Wednesday's game, as head coach Edin Terzic said at his pre-match press conference.

"We go into tomorrow's game with a good feeling. We've earned it with the first leg result. We're going to have a great evening with our fans. We're really looking forward to it," said Terzic.

The Black and Yellows ended a three-match winless streak with a 2-0 victory over Union Berlin on March 2 and followed that up with another win last week, beating Werder Bremen 2-1 despite being reduced to 10 men when Marcel Sabitzer saw red late in the first half.

PSV, who sit 10 points clear at the top of the Eredivisie, are also in fine form, having gone unbeaten in their last eight games.

Nevertheless, Donyell Malen, who scored against his former club in the first game in Eindhoven, sees Dortmund as favorites.

"I expect an exciting game. Is there a favorite? Sure, we're playing at home," Malen said, sitting next to Terzic.

With Nico Schlotterbeck suspended, Mats Hummels is likely to start alongside Niklas Süle at the heart of defense for the home side. Sebastien Haller is the only other absentee for Terzic's side. Update: Julian Ryerson missed the final training session due to a skin infection and is therefore likely to miss the game as well.

PSV are sweating over the fitness of Ismael Saibari, while Noa Lang is out with a hamstring injury.
