Here are our Fantasy Bundesliga tips for the final matchday of the season.
Fortuna Düsseldorf are probably the most obvious team to invest in for Matchday 34 where they will be playing at home against Hannover 96 who have aleady been relegated. Priced at just 6.8M, Dodi Lukebakio looks like a really solid pick. The Watford loanee has had an excellent season, scoring 10 goals in 30 Bundesliga appearances, and he should be eager to round off the season with a good performance in what will most likely be his last appearance for Fortuna. Other great and cheap options from Fortuna Düsseldorf are Dawid Kownacki (striker, 6.3M), Oliver Fink (midfielder, 4.5M) and Mattias Zimmermann (defender, 2M).
Vincenzo Grifo (SC Freiburg), midfielder - 13.4M
Vincenzo Grifo and Freiburg disappointingly lost 0-3 to Hannover 96 on Matchday 33, but with a home game against Nürnberg coming up, the 26-year-old remains an interesting option. Freiburg are a different side at home and have lost just one of their last six games at Schwarzwald-Stadion. Grifo should have a good chance of shining against a demoralized Nürnberg team who were relegated from the Bundesliga on Matchday 33.
Yannick Gerhardt (VfL Wolfsburg), defender - 10.7M
Just like Freiburg, Wolfsburg suffered a disappointing loss on Matchday 33 as they were beaten 3-0 by Stuttgart. Nevertheless, we trust 'Die Wölfe' to end off the season with a win in their aim for European qualification against an Augsburg team who have nothing to play for. Priced at 10.7M, Yannick Gerhardt looks like a solid option - particularly considering he's listed as a defender in-game, but plays as a central midfielder. If you're looking for other options from Wolfsburg, you could also go for Admir Mehmedi (midfielder, 10.2M), Wout Weghorst (striker, 14.4M) or Jerome Roussillon (defender, 9.5M), who should finally return from injury.
