Report: Neuer wants to extend his contract until at least 2023

Manuel Neuer is reportedly hoping to extend his contract with Bayern München until at least 2023.

    Bayern München boss Karl-Heinz Rummenigge recently said the club plans to extend Manuel Neuer's current deal which is due to run out in 2021.

    According to TZ, talks between the parties are yet to begin, but the 33-year-old should be willing to sign a new deal.

    In fact, the German international wants to put pen to paper on a contract extension until at least 2023, as per the report.

    Neuer has made 343 appearances for Bayern since he joined the Bavarian club from Schalke 04 in 2011.
