Report: Leverkusen reject Real Madrid offer for Kai Havertz

Apparently, Real Madrid have offered Bayer Leverkusen €80 million for Kai Havertz, but the Bundesliga side want at least €100 million for the 20-year-old.
Bayer Leverkusen have turned down an €80 million offer from Real Madrid for Kai Havertz, according to Bild.

Real Madrid proposed a deal that would see Havertz loaned back to Leverkusen for the 2020/21 season, but 'Die Werkself' are holding out for an offer of at least €100 million.

Havertz has been linked with a number of other clubs as well, including Bayern München, but the German champions would reportedly prefer to wait until next year before making their move for him.

According to a recent report from Sport Bild, Havertz wants to make a decision on his future this summer. Even if he opts to spend another season at Leverkusen, the youngster is eager to determine which club he will be joining in 2021.

The 20-year-old's contract with Leverkusen expires in 2022.
