Official: Peretz joins HSV on one-year loan deal

The Israeli shot-stopper has made the switch to the newly promoted Hanseatic club.

Hamburger SV has signed Daniel Peretz from FC Bayern Munich, both Bundesliga clubs have announced this evening.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper will join the club on loan from the Bavarians for the 2025/26 season to strengthen the goalkeeping team.

"After Matheo [Raab]'s transfer, it was clear that we still needed to make changes in the goalkeeper position," said Stefan Kuntz.

“Last season already showed how incredibly important it is to have a strong goalkeeping group.

"We are therefore delighted that Daniel, with his international experience, has chosen us,” the HSV board member explained.

Peretz has made seven competitive appearances for the German record champions, who signed him from Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2023.
