Two German internationals – Borussia Dortmund duo Nico Schlotterbeck and Felix Nmecha – have recently been linked with Real Madrid, with reports suggesting they are among José Mourinho’s summer transfer targets.

Antonio Rüdiger, who recently signed a one-year contract extension with Real Madrid, would be pleased to see his two Germany teammates join him in the Spanish capital.

“Good players are always welcome. I would be very happy, absolutely,” Rüdiger said, according to Sky Germany.

On Schlotterbeck’s qualities, Rüdiger added:

“Nico has always been a threat, especially from set pieces. He’s aggressive, he’s always there in duels and his build-up play is outstanding. His left foot is gold.”

Rüdiger, Schlotterbeck, Nmecha and Germany face Ivory Coast on Saturday, having thrashed Curacao 7-1 in their World Cup opener.
