Stuttgart eye Barcelona starlet as Millot replacement

According to Kicker, VfB Stuttgart could turn to FC Barcelona for a potential replacement for Enzo Millot, should the midfielder depart this summer.

VfB Stuttgart have been planning for Enzo Millot’s potential departure for some time. The 22-year-old has a release clause of just €18-20 million in his contract and has fueled speculation about his future in interviews a number of times.

According to Kicker, Stuttgart are now eyeing 18-year-old Barcelona talent Noah Darvich as a possible successor.

The German youth international joined Barça from Freiburg two years ago and has since played for the club’s reserve side, Barcelona Atlètic, in Spain’s third tier.

With first-team opportunities proving hard to come by, Darvich is reportedly open to a move with one year left on his contract with the La Liga giants.

Stuttgart are said to be among several clubs monitoring his situation. A transfer fee in the region of €3 million could be enough to secure his services.
