Bo Svensson turns down Werder Bremen job

According to Bild, Bo Svensson has rejected the opportunity to replace Horst Steffen as Werder Bremen coach.

Bo Svensson has been considered the favourite to replace the recently sacked Horst Steffen as Werder Bremen coach, but the Dane will reportedly not be taking over the role.

According to Bild, Svensson has informed the the Bundesliga club that he is not available for the position.

Earlier on Monday, it was suggested that that Bo Henriksen is no longer in the running either.

Other names linked with the job in recent days include Nenad Bjelica, Marco Rose, Dieter Hecking and Daniel Thioune.

Werder currently sit 15th in the Bundesliga, just above the relegation zone, with 20 games played this season.
