Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany has warned his team against easing off when they face Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Coming off a 3-1 victory over Chelsea in the Champions League, Bayern can't afford to take their next challenge lightly, Kompany stressed at a press conference on Friday.

“Hoffenheim won all their friendlies in pre-season, won in the cup and always performed well. They'll be thinking that this is the moment. We're in good form, so we won't prepare for Hoffenheim in any way different than we did for Chelsea,” Kompany said.

"We need to see who's fit, who feels good. Underestimating them isn't an option. That's the big danger. Our players are very experienced, have been in this position many times, so I trust them not to underestimate an opponent."

Hoffenheim currently sit sixth in the Bundesliga with six points from three games.
