Bayern Munich have identified two budget-friendly transfer targets for the upcoming summer window, according to Wednesday's edition of Sport Bild.

One of them is Hoffenheim’s Fisnik Asllani. Contrary to a recent report from Sky Germany, Sport Bild claims Bayern remain interested in the 23-year-old forward.

Asllani, who has racked up eight goals and seven assists Hoffenheim this season, has a release clause below €30 million and could be brought in as a back-up to Harry Kane up front.

The other target is Feyenoord right-back Givairo Read, who has been linked with Bayern for some time.

According to honorary president Uli Hoeneß, fans shouldn’t expect big-money signings like Luis Díaz, who joined from Liverpool for €70 million last summer.

“We won’t be making big moves on the transfer market in the summer. The credo is that transfers must not lead us into debt. There is no compromise on that for me," Hoeneß underlined.

“I see it this way: FC Bayern have shown this year that we understand the times. The moment we realised our savings were shrinking, we hit the brakes. Our transfer balance is very balanced. We are also in the process of reducing the squad.

"If we had signed all the players we talked about, our savings account would be empty, and we would have had to take loans to finance it. That was the decisive impulse for us to say no."
