Bayern Munich's honorary president Uli Hoeneß has reportedly joined the fray over ongoing contract discussions with Konrad Laimer.

Both the player, his representatives and the club are now back at the negotiating table, according to information from Sport1.

It's believed that the Bavarians' chief has reportedly made the German record champions' red lines clear to Laimer's camp.

The €12 to €15 million that the right-back reportedly initially demanded is now supposedly off the table thanks to Hoeneß.

Instead, a "moderate" salary increase is said to be the most Laimer would accept, should an agreement be reached.

The versatile Austrian's current contract, which expires next year, reportedly ensures he earns between €8 and €9million per year.
