Schalke have reportedly taken a significant step towards signing Junior Dina Ebimbe from Eintracht Frankfurt after agreeing personal terms with the versatile midfielder, according to “WAZ”. Talks between the two Bundesliga clubs are also said to be progressing as they work towards a deal.

The 25-year-old has emerged as one of Schalke's priority transfer targets as the newly promoted side continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new Bundesliga season. While the clubs have yet to finalize a transfer fee, the gap between their respective valuations has reportedly narrowed in recent negotiations.

Dina Ebimbe remains under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until 2027, but he is no longer part of the club's long-term plans after spending last season on loan at Stade Brest. The midfielder impressed in Ligue 1, contributing five goals in 27 league appearances, boosting his value despite his uncertain future in Frankfurt.

Capable of playing in central midfield, out wide or as a wing-back, Dina Ebimbe's versatility is viewed as a major asset for Schalke, who are keen to add top-flight experience to their squad.
