According to Kicker, VfL Wolfsburg are hoping to complete two signings before the transfer window closes on Monday.

The Wolves have made an €8 million offer to Metz for Senegalese centre-back Sadibou Sané, who could arrive as a replacement for the long-term injured Denis Vavro.

They are further along with Saël Kumbedi, with the 20-year-old set to undergo a medical ahead of his move from Olympique Lyon today, Wednesday, according to the German football magazine.

If all goes according to plan, the 20-year-old right-back will join on loan for €1 million, with a €6 million purchase obligation included in the deal.
