VfL Wolfsburg is in the process of signing two new players, according to Brazilian television station ‘SBT Rio’.

The transfer of Vini Souza from Sheffield United is almost complete, with the defensive midfielder set to have a medical next week.

Wolfsburg have agreed on a €15million transfer fee with The Blades, while Kicker supports the report and their ‘intensive' efforts to sign him.

The right-footed Brazilian made 76 appearances for Sheffield to date, including 36 outings in the Premier League last year.

Meanwhile, Kicker reports that VfL prevailed in the poker game for U-20 international Aaron Zehnter for the left wing.

Several Bundesliga clubs were interested in the SC Paderborn player, for whom a transfer fee of up to €5million was recently discussed.
