Having been sidelined since March with a cruciate ligament tear, Alphonso Davies is closing in on his long-awaited return.

According to Munich-based outlet Abendzeitung, the 25-year-old is expected to be fully reintegrated into team training after this month’s international break.

If all goes according to plan, Davies could be back in the Bayern squad for their Bundesliga clash against Freiburg on November 22.

In his absence, Josip Stanisic, Konrad Laimer and most recently Tim Bischof have filled in at left-back.

The Canadian international has made a total of 226 appearances for Bayern to date.
