During Bayern Munich's 4-1 win over Atalanta Bergamo in the second leg of the round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League, Bayern coach Vincent Kompany has decided to award some game time to a few Bayern talents - one of the being Filip Pavić.

The 16-year-old, born on January 19th 2010, made history with this performance, as he has become the youngest ever Champions League player in Bayern Munich history!

He has not quite beaten the record for being the youngest ever player in a professional game for the Bavarians - this record still belongs to a certain Paul Wanner.

Pavić has been training with the senior team for a while now and Kompany praised his performances in training, calling his first minutes for Bayern tonight “deserved”.
