Mohamed Salah has recently made headlines after taking a swipe at his club, Liverpool, and head coach Arne Slot, following his third consecutive game out of the starting lineup.
The Egyptian international was subsequently left out of Liverpool’s squad for Tuesday's Champions League clash against Inter, and speculation has emerged about a potential winter transfer.
However, Bayern have no intention of pursuing Salah, with Bayern board member for sport Eberl underlining that the club would rather focus on developing 17-year-old talent Lennart Karl.
“We have an outstanding talent in Lennart Karl. Putting someone in front of him now wouldn’t make any sense,” Eberl told DAZN.
“I have followed his statements, but I haven’t gone into them in depth,” he added.
“How things proceed from here, honestly, thankfully, is not my problem.”
