Last season's Bundesliga runners-up Borussia Dortmund are reportedly considering a summer move for Benjamin Tahirovic.

According to Sky Germany, the Bosnian player has been a candidate for the Westphalian giants for several months.

It's suggested that Dortmund even expressed their interest in the Brøndby IF star even before the 2026 World Cup.

At that time, Sebastian Kehl was still responsible for transfers at BVB, and interest in Tahirovic naturally cooled.

Since then, Ole Book has taken over from Kehl, but the 23-year-old is still on Borussia Dortmund's transfer shortlist.

BVB finds the potential transfer fee for the Bosnian attractive considering the midfielder is likely available for under €10million.

The 31-time international's contract at Brøndby runs until 2028 – He also started in two of Bosnia's three World Cup matches thus far.
