According to the latest update from transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are on the verge of signing Jamie Gittens.

The report on Twitter/X suggest that the London club are “close to completing a deal” with Borussia Dortmund.

It is also believed that a special meeting took place between the two clubs on Monday afternoon regarding the transfer.

Talks are supposedly back underway after the deal for the English winger originally collapsed prior to the Club World Cup.

Chelsea fully intend on offering Jamie Gittens a 7-year deal at Stamford Bridge which will keep him tied to the club until 2032.
