Germany U19 international Finn Jeltsch has been officially unveiled as a VfB Stuttgart player.

The Swabians have paid a reported 9.5 million (according to Transfermarkt) to sign the 18-year-old centre-back from FC Nürnberg on a contract until 2030.

“Finn Jeltsch is one of the outstanding young players in his position in Germany,” said VfB Stuttgart director of sport Fabian Wohlgemuth.

“At the age of 18, he has already made 31 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga. We are delighted that we have been able to tie Finn to VfB for the long term.”

    Jeltsch commented:

"I'm delighted to be at VfB and to be able to take the next step in my development. The move to the Bundesliga is a dream come true for me. I'm really looking forward to the new task, meeting my teammates and being part of the club."
