Bayern Munich have opened talks with Serge Gnabry over a contract extension beyond next summer.

According to Bild’s Bayern Insider podcast, the parties held a meeting last week to discuss “options and salary reductions,” with a potential contract running until 2028 on the table.

The 30-year-old reportedly “can well imagine” signing a new deal, but an agreement is not yet in sight.

Gnabry has been a regular starter for Bayern this season, racking up five goals and six assists in 19 competitive matches.

Overall, he has played 304 matches for the Bavarians, scoring 98 goals and providing 67 assists.
