For a long while, Borussia Dortmund have been linked with a move for TSG Hoffenheim forward Fisnik Asllani – and according to Bild, their interest persists.

The German tabloid reports that BVB have recently been in renewed contact with the 23-year-old’s representatives over a potential summer transfer.

Dortmund have reiterated their interest, but have also made it clear that a potential move depends on departures, with Asllani understood to be open to a move to the Black and Yellows.

The forward could come in to replace either Serhou Guirassy or Karim Adeyemi, who are both being linked with moves away from Dortmund.

RB Leipzig have also been mentioned as suitors for the Kosovo international, who can reportedly leave for either €25 million or €30 million depending on the interested club. The higher fee apparently applies to clubs that have participated in the Champions League in the last three years.

Asllani scored 11 goals and provided 10 assists in 35 games for Hoffenheim last season.
