Hugo Ekitiké is said to have attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs.

But so far, none of them have moved to meet Eintracht Frankfurt’s hefty €100 million valuation of the French striker.

Eintracht’s director of professional football, Pirmin Schwegler, is taking the situation completely calmly.

“The situation is very clear. There’s nothing more to add,” he told Absolut Fussball.

“We’re working with the players to make sure they’re fit after their vacation, so it doesn’t make sense to comment on transfer rumors right now.

"I’m happy that our core squad is in place, but I also know that anything can happen until September 1.”
