Niko Kovač reportedly on the verge of agreeing new Dortmund deal
The 54-year-old is seemingly on the verge of extending his current contract with a new deal.

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly on the verge of extending the contract of another key figure in the form of Niko Kovač.
After club chiefs Carsten Cramer, Lars Ricken, and Thomas Treß had already signed new deals, only the BVB head coach remains.
According to Sports BILD's sources, the Croatian tactician has already reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund.
The contract, currently valid until 2027, will reportedly be extended until the summer 2029, with “only the signature missing”.
Kovač apparently wanted to wait until Ricken's future was clarified before making a final commitment to the Westphalian giants.
The final agreement between Dortmund and Kovač, as well as the official announcement by the Bundesliga club, could follow soon.
