Fantasy Bundesliga tips: Strikers to consider for the start of the 2025/26 season

With the new Bundesliga season just around the corner, we are ready to give you a helping hand with your Fantasy Bundesliga team.

In the third article of our series highlighting top picks by position, we take a closer look at the strikers you should have on your radar when building your squad.

Budget options:

Alexander Røssing-Lelesiit, Hamburger SV – 1.8m

The 18-year-old started HSV’s final preseason friendly and in the first round of the DFB-Pokal and should have a real chance of making the starting eleven for their Bundesliga opener too - especially if Jean-Luc Dompé isn’t deemed fit enough to start. If you’re looking for a bench player up front with a genuine chance of minutes, the Norwegian winger is a good shout.

Dzenan Pejcinovic, Wolfsburg – 3m

After impressing in pre-season, Pejcinovic came off the bench to score a hat-trick in Wolfsburg’s 9-0 demolition of lower-league side SV Hemelingen in the first round of the DFB-Pokal. With fellow striker Mohamed Amoura struggling with a knock and linked with a move to Benfica, Pejcinovic could play a significant role from the start of the season.

Haris Tabakovic, Gladbach – 5.3m

In the same price bracket, Tabakovic offers a similar striker profile and is expected to lead the line for Gladbach while Tim Kleindienst recovers from injury. Priced at just 5.3 million and with a home fixture against HSV coming up, he could deliver outstanding value for money.

Mid-range options:

Fisnik Asllani, Hoffenheim - 8m

Hoffenheim go into the new season with a completely different team, and Asllani could turn out to be one of their key players. After an impressive loan spell at Elversberg in the 2. Bundesliga, racking up 27 goal involvements in 33 games, the 23-year-old drew interest from several Bundesliga clubs, but ultimately chose to commit his future to Hoffenheim.

Benedikt Hollerbach, Mainz - 10.5m

One of the few bright spots at Union Berlin last season, Hollerbach has joined Mainz with the tough task of replacing Jonathan Burkardt up front. It could prove to be a great fit, and with the prospect of better service than he received at his former club, Hollerbach has the potential to thrive under Bo Henriksen.

Patrik Schick, Bayer Leverkusen – 11.4m

It may have flown under the radar for some, but Schick scored an impressive 21 goals in 31 Bundesliga games for Bayer Leverkusen last season. Having committed to a new long-term contract, the Czech forward is set to take on a leading role for the new Leverkusen side. At 11.4 million, he doesn’t come at a high price for what he offers.

Premium options:

Nick Woltemade, Stuttgart – 13.1m

It’s safe to say it’s been an eventful summer for Nick Woltemade. He made his senior debut for Germany, starred at the U21 Euros, and then became the focus of one of the biggest transfer sagas in German football, with Bayern Munich chasing him. It now looks like he will stay at Stuttgart, and based on his performances last season and over the summer, Woltemade is certainly one to watch from a Fantasy perspective.

Serhou Guirassy, Borussia Dortmund – 19.3m

Given Dortmund’s favorable opening schedule and Guirassy’s standout performances both last season and at the Club World Cup, he almost has to be in your squad from the start of the campaign.

Harry Kane, FC Bayern – 22.2m

From one must-have striker to another, Kane will certainly also deliver goals consistently throughout the new season. Another advantage with both Kane and Guirassy is that they both have a realistic chance of scoring a few hat-tricks over the course of the season.
