Timothy Chandler ‘s time at Eintracht Frankfurt is far from over, according to Kicker’s latest report.

The German-American right-back will extend his expiring contract for another year shortly.

The signing is expected to take place this week, before the home game against St.Pauli on Sunday.

Chandler is a veteran of Eintracht Frankfurt, having played for the Eagles since 2001, aside from a few years spent at FC Nürnburg.

The 35-year-old has made 198 competitive appearances to date for the first team since 2014, winning the DFB Cup and the Europa League.
