Said El Mala has made a significant breakthrough for 1. FC Köln this season and was called up to the German senior national team for the first time this month.

Given his rapid rise, it’s no surprise that the 19-year-old has been linked with a number of top clubs.

According to Sky Germany, Manchester City seem particularly keen on the young attacker.

The German outlet reports that Man City scouts have attended several Köln matches to assess El Mala, while manager Pep Guardiola has reviewed multiple videos and clips of the youngster.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are also said to be among the clubs keeping tabs on El Mala, who could be on the move next summer.
