Werder Bremen defender set to finally complete Cincinnati loan move

Until recently, Julian Malatini's future remained uncertain at Werder Bremen, but now a route out of the club is nearing completion.

The Argentine's one-year loan move to FC Cincinnati in the USA had already been announced at the beginning of September.

However, Malatini was still seen on the training pitch last week after several hurdles stood in his way, including the lack of a work permit.

Now, according to BILD, all documents have been signed, and Malatini is scheduled to depart for the USA on Wednesday.

This situation is not an isolated case – David Doudera, a Czech-born full-back also signed by Cincinnati, was also waiting for his work visa.

The MLS club currently sits in ninth place in the Eastern Conference standings with a total of 33 points after 27 matchdays.
