Hamburger SV have agreed a deal to sign French midfielder Martin Adeline from ESTAC Troyes for €4 million plus bonuses, according to Bild.

L’Équipe and Hamburger Abendblatt are also reporting on HSV’s concrete interest in the 22-year-old.

Adeline is expected to undergo a medical shortly, with the Frenchman in line to replace Fábio Vieira, who has returned to Arsenal following his loan spell.

The young attacking midfielder played a key role in Troyes’ promotion to Ligue 1 last season, scoring 10 goals and providing 11 assists in 32 Ligue 2 appearances.
