Hamburger SV will have to manage without Patson Daka in the weeks to come.

The Bundesliga outfit confirmed on Friday that the striker has returned from international duty with Zambia carrying an injury.

Detailed examinations, including an MRI scan, have revealed that Daka has suffered a muscle fibre tear in his left thigh.

As a result, he is expected to be sidelined for “the coming weeks”, HSV stated.

HSV will resume their season after the international break with an away game against Hoffenheim on October 10.
