1.FC Kaiserslautern were in pole position to sign SC Freiburg's Bruno Ogbus on loan, but their plans have since stalled.

Freiburg coach Julian Schuster recently confirmed that Ogbus will remain at SC Freiburg for at least the next two away matches.

Those games include RB Leipzig on Wednesday and Augsburg next Sunday due to Philipp Lienhart’s injury against Hamburger SV.

However, second-division outfit Kaiserslautern are still working on a loan move as talks are already advanced between the sides.

The 20-year-old talented centre-back is set to leave the Breisgau clun in order to gain regular playing time elsewhere.
