Gregor Kobel has been ruled out of Borussia Dortmund's Bundesliga match against RB Leipzig on Saturday.

The BVB goalkeeper picked up a problem during Dortmund's 1-0 extra-time defeat to Wolfsburg in the DFB-Pokal in midweek and adds to an already lengthy list of injuries.

“The list is getting longer. ‘Greg’ has minor problems as a result of the Wolfsburg game and will be out tomorrow,” said Dortmund coach Nuri Sahin at a press conference on Friday.

Things aren't looking good for Waldemar Anton either, although Sahin still holds out hope that the defender will be available.

The centre-back missed the game against Wolfsburg due to a hip injury and is a big doubt.

"It's a race against time for 'Waldi'. We don't have high hopes, but there's still hope," Sahin said.

In addition to Kobel, Dortmund will certainly be without Adeyemi, Couto, Duranville, Kabar, Reyna, Süle, Ryerson and Wätjen.

That will not make things any easier for Sahin's side, who have lost four of their last five games in all competitions.

“10 injured players is a lot, I've never experienced that before. We'll get out of it by pulling together. Things will turn around eventually and we'll get it right. The boys know what we're doing,” said the under-pressure BVB coach.
