1. FC Köln remain hopeful of getting a deal to sign Mikey Moore on loan from Tottenham over the line, but will have to remain patient for the time being.

As reported by local outlet Express.de, the 19-year-old winger has already given the green light to the move.

However, Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi is reluctant to let Moore leave until the club strengthens in attack.

Moore impressed in Saturday’s 3-0 friendly win over Hoffenheim, scoring twice, which may have only strengthened De Zerbi’s desire to keep hold of the youngster.

1. FC Köln managing director for sport Thomas Kessler refused to comment directly on the situation on Sunday, telling Express.de:

“Normally, I don’t talk about players who are under contract elsewhere.”
