Report: Fürth set to sign Swedish keeper on a free

SpVgg Greuther Fürth are reportedly nearing the signing of their new keeper.
After an injury to preferred #1 Marius Funk left Greuther Fürth head-coach Stefan Leitl in search of an extra goalkeeping option, the Bundesliga's last placed team has been in the market for a new keeper. Some of the more speculative rumors had the Kleeblätter linked with German Liverpool back-up Loris Karius.

It appears as if the Middle Franconians have found a more practical solution. Molde FK net minder Andreas Linde is available on a free after his contract expired at the conclusion of the Norwegian 2021 Eliteserien. The 28-year-old Swede made 121 appearances in for Molde over seven seasons in the Norwegian top flight. He made one start for the Swedish national team.

German footballing magazine Kicker reports that Linda is expected in Bavaria on Monday for a medical.
