Mathys Tel became the youngest Bundesliga goalscorer in FC Bayern München's history with his goal against VfB Stuttgart yesterday.

At the age of 17 years and 136 days, the summer signing from Rennes scored Bayern's first goal in the 2-2 draw to break the record.

The previous record holder was Tel's teammate Jamal Musiala, who was 17 years and 205 days old when he scored in an 8-0 victory over Schalke 04 in September 2020.

Last month, Tel became Bayern's all-time youngest goalscorer in the DFB-Pokal with a goal against Viktoria Köln.
