Kasper Hjulmand’s future as Bayer Leverkusen coach is uncertain, according to Sky Germany.

The German media outlet suggests a coaching change in the summer is possible, describing the Dane’s future as "open in all directions".

As per the report, Bayer 04’s management plan to sit down with Hjulmand by the end of the season to assess whether the club’s goals have been met and if the partnership should continue.

The 53-year-old took over in early September following Erik ten Hag’s dismissal.

Since then, Hjulmand has guided Bayer 04 to sixth place in the Bundesliga, while also reaching the DFB-Pokal semi-finals and the Champions League round of 16.

His contract runs until 2027.
