Although Ryan Gravenberch has publicly expressed his disappointment with the playing time he has received in his first season at Bayern Munich, the midfielder expects to remain at the club beyond the summer.

"I assume that I will still be playing for Bayern next season," Gravenberch told AD.nl.

"That's really how I feel. I'm at one of the top 3 clubs in the world. I think that's nice and special. I'm not going to give up so easily. My goal is still to be successful at Bayern," he added.

Despite the fact that he's not on holiday at the moment, but is playing in the European Under-21 Championship, the Dutchman wants to be back at the Säbener Strasse for the first day of pre-season.

"We start on July 13. The Super Cup is less than a month later. I know this will be a crucial year for me. That's why I want to be there from the first training session".

Gravenberch, 21, joined Bayern from Ajax last summer.
