Frankfurt sign son of former Stuttgart pro Lisztes

Eintracht Frankfurt confirmed that they had signed the son of former Stuttgart, Bremen, and Gladbach midfielder Krisztian Lisztes yesterday. The 18-year-old will make the switch to the German commercial capital in the summer of 2024.
Krisztian Lisztes - the son of the former Bundesliga Hungarian international of the same name - will wear the colors of the RheinMain Adler in the future. The teenage talent will make the switch from Ferencváros after the current campaign concludes. Lisztes recently helped his Hungarian club capture the league title, scoring five goals in nine games during the second half of last season. The midfielder will remain in Hungary for now, arriving in SGE camp once the current season concludes.

"Krisztian Lisztes played himself into our focus with us in recent months," sporting director Timmo Hardung noted in a statement accompanying the signing, "We are also pleased to be able to provide with solid prospects at Eintracht Frankfurt. We are convinced that Krisztian will initially continue his development in a familiar environment and gain even more competitive experience and look forward to eventually welcoming him here."

Eintracht were also able to secure another developmental prospect for the midfield before the transfer window closed last week. Eighteen-year-old German youth international Sidney Raebiger joined the SGE from SpVgg Greuther Fürth. Current Eintracht head-coach Dino Toppmöller and chief sporting executive Markus Krösche are familiar with the youngster from their time spent in the RB Leipzig system.
