Julian Nagelsmann will reportedly be the Germany coach for next year's European Championship.

According to Bild, the former Hoffenheim, RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich coach will replace the recently sacked Hansi Flick.

The German tabloid reports that the German Football Association and Nagelsmann have reached an agreement in principle for the 36-year-old to take over as coach from now until the end of the European Championship on home soil.

Nagelsmann's monthly salary will reportedly be around €400,000. His contract with Bayern, which is still valid despite his dismissal as coach in March, will be terminated, and he will join the DFB on a free transfer.

Flick was fired this month after a 4-1 loss to Japan. He had won only four of his last 17 games, and his Germany team was eliminated in the group stages of the World Cup.
