At his pre-match press conference, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel revealed that a late decision will be made on the midfield duo's participation.
"With Josh and Leon, there are more or less hourly or two-hourly updates. We hope they can play, but of course it will be super tight," Tuchel told reporters.
That means 19-year-old Aleksandar Pavlovic, who impressed against Stuttgart, could get another start.
"Maybe he will play again. An away game is different from a home game, and to start twice in a week with two games... It's important that you don't put anyone too high on the pedestal, only to pull them down later.
"But I like the way he handles things: with humility and a big smile. That's the most important thing. The rest will follow".
Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry, Noussair Mazraoui, Tarek Buchmann and Bouna Sarr are definitely out for Bayern, with Sven Ulreich expected to be unavailable as well.
