Report: Dortmund slap €30 million price tag on Julian Weigl

Borussia Dortmund are understood to demand €30 million to let Julian Weigl go this summer.
It would take an offer of €30 million to persuade Borussia Dortmund to sell Julian Weigl this summer, Sport Bild reports.

Dortmund would actually prefer to keep Weigl as BVB coach Lucien Favre sees him as a reliable option for several positions, according to the report.

That's why Weigl was denied a transfer in January when he was linked with the likes of Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.

Back then, however, the defensive midfielder was informed that he could be allowed to leave this summer - as long as the transfer fee will be acceptable for the club.

Apparently, Weigl would be open to finding a new employer abroad in either England, Spain, France or Italy. The most important thing for him is that his potential new club have qualified for Europe.

According to Sport Bild, PSG remain interested in the 23-year-old, although he is no longer their top priority.
