Milot Rashica will not leave Werder in January

Milot Rashica is set to stay at Werder Bremen until the end of the season at least.
Milot Rashica will be staying at Werder Bremen beyond the winter transfer window, according to his agent, Altin Lala, and the club's sporting director, Frank Baumann.

The 23-year-old has reportedly attracted interest from AC Milan, but Lala rules out that his client could leave Weserstadion in January.

"Maybe they are interested, but saying goodbye in the winter is out of the question," Lala told Kicker.

Werder sporting director Frank Baumann also makes it clear that Rashica will stay until the end of the season, but is aware that the club might not be able to hold on to the winger until the end of his career.

"The next step will come at some point. But definitely not this winter," Baumann said.

Rashica has made eight appearances for Werder this season, racking up six goals and two assists.
