With the Bundesliga finally returning from the winter break this Friday, it's time to take a fresh look at your Fantasy Bundesliga team.

The unlimited transfer window will be open until the start of Matchday 18, so you can make all the changes you want.

Below, we take a look at the options at the striker position.

Josh Sargent (Werder Bremen, 3.9M) is expected to start against Fortuna Düsseldorf and currently looks like the best low-price option up top. If you're willing to spend big on a Werder player, you should go for Milot Rashica (Werder Bremen, 14.4M) who managed to score seven goals and make three assists despite his team's disappointing first half of the season.

Lucas Höler (Freiburg, 7.8M) nailed down a starting berth over the course of the first half of the season, and he is set to continue in Freiburg's starting eleven. With Freiburg having a nice run of fixtures coming up, it may be worth taking a punt on the 25-year-old who has racked up four goals and four assists this season so far. You could also look at his striking partner Nils Petersen (Freiburg, 12.7M) who has netted seven times this season.

Daniel Ginczek (Wokfsburg, 8.5M) should start alongside Wout Weghorst after recovering from a back injury that has kept him out for most of the season so far. Just like Freiburg, Wolfsburg have an attractive fixture list, and Ginczek could potentially provide good value for money. If you have trust Wolfsburg to get off to a good start, you could break the bank to bring in Wout Weghorst (Wolfsburg, 15.9M) who has scored seven league goals so far this season.

Patrik Schick (RB Leipzig, 10.3M) did really well towards the end of 2019 and is certainly an attractive option if he can keep up that form. Schick should start against Union Berlin this weekend, but faces tough competition from Yussuf Poulsen who will be ready to step in if his teammate doesn't perform.

Florian Niederlechner (Augsburg, 10.8M) is another player who rounded off the first half of the season in really impressive fashion. Although you might not want to bring Niederlechner in for this weekend's difficult game against Dortmund, he's surely a player to keep an eye out for, having scored eight goals and made eight assists so far.

After a disappointing first half of the season, Eintracht Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter has said he's considering playing with two strikers, and should he choose to do that, Goncalo Paciencia (Frankfurt, 10.8M) and Bas Dost (Frankfurt, 11.7M) are likely to start up top. While Paciencia has been a solid Fantasy option so far, Dost has struggled following his summer move from Sporting CP, but the Dutchman has previously shown he knows how to find the net and could potentially get back on track in Frankfurt's new system.

Borussia Dortmund newcomer Erling Haaland (Dortmund, 13M) is surely a player to keep an eye out for in the long term, but he's unlikely to move straight into the starting eleven.

Marcus Thuram (Gladbach, 13.2M) has been the third highest-scoring Fantasy striker so far, only behind Timo Werner and Robert Lewandowski, and remains an attractive option.

Andrej Kramaric (Hoffenheim, 13.9M) is another option in the same price category that is worth considering. Hoffenheim have been quite inconsistent this season, but that hasn't stopped Kramaric from consistently chipping in with goals. After returning from an injury in October, the 28-year-old has netted five times in eight games.

Kevin Volland (Leverkusen, 17M) looks certain to start ahead of Lucas Alario and could pick up plenty of points in Leverkusen's first three games of 2020 that will see them face Paderborn, Fortuna Düsseldorf and Hoffenheim. You should consider if you think he's worth 17 million, though.

Finally, of course, you can't go wrong with Timo Werner (RB Leipzig, 19.2M) and Robert Lewandowski (Bayern München, 23.2M). The question is if you want to pick one of them or spend big to bring in them both.
