Lukasz Piszczek has made it clear that next season will be his last at Borussia Dortmund.

The Polish full-back recently signed a one-year contract extension until 2021, at which point he plans to head back to his home country.

"In 2021, it's time to say goodbye. I don't see how anything can change that," Piszczek told Kicker and added:

"I have concrete plans in Poland and have already postponed these plans for a year. I want to play with friends from my home club LKS Goczalkowice, where my father is vice-president, and take care of the youth academy that we started in 2019."

Piszczek, 35, joined Dortmund from Hertha BSC in 2010.
