Jacob Bruun Larsen reflects on 'emotional' BVB exit and lack of first-team action at Hoffenheim
Jacob Bruun Larsen looks back on his 'emotional' Borussia Dortmund exit and opens up on his lack of playing time at Hoffenheim.

Having come through the youth ranks at BVB, the Danish winger was initially given plenty of playing time, but he slipped down the pecking order under Lucien Favre following the arrivals of Thorgan Hazard and Julian Brandt in the summer of 2019.
"I saw down with Favre, and we evaluated my situation. In the end, I decided that I wanted a transfer in order to develop at this level. This way of course a big step and very emotional for me," Bruun Larsen told Spox.
However, the 22-year-old hasn't played as much as he would have hoped for at Rhein-Neckar Arena and is yet to make an appearance under new Hoffenheim coach Sebastian Hoeness.
"Of course, my ambition is to play in every game - but I'm not the only one to feel that way," Bruun Larsen said and continued:
"We'll see. In football, a lot can change in a short time. I remain patient, but I'm also very hungry."
