Sabitzer has a current market value of €42m, however, according to The Athletic, the Bundesliga side are willing to sell the Austrian for only €17m.
This is because Sabitzer becomes a free agent in the summer of 2022, and Leipzig look like they want to cash in on him before that contract expires.
There has been no movement from Sabitzer's side to extend his contract with RB Leipzig, however Leipzig are said to be willing to listen to offers should Sabitzer make it clear that he wishes to leave Die Roten Bullen.
The Austrian midfielder was subject to strong interest from Tottenham Hotspur during the season but no move materialized, and now Liverpool are said to have joined in on the race for Sabitzer's signature.
Sabitzer is currently on international duty with Austria as they look to make big progress at EURO 2020 with their talented squad. Sabitzer featured on our list of 10 non-German Bundesliga stars to watch out for at the Euros, read more by clicking here
