Eintracht Frankfurt have officially announced the signing of Otávio from CF Estrela Amadora this morning, Tuesday, 28 July.

In joining the club, the Brazilian has signed a long-term contract with the Bundesliga outfit from the Hessen state until June 2031.

The central defender will undergo medical examinations in Frankfurt and then travel to the training camp in Grassau.

The 20-year-old has signed a contract until 2031 and will wear the number five jersey in the upcoming 2026-27 campaign.

Last season, the left-footed defender made 22 appearances for the first team, playing a key role in the team's survival in the topflight.

“With Otávio, we are bringing in a young, highly talented central defender with a lot of potential for development.

"He is left-footed, tall, athletic, fast, and combines these qualities with a strong defensive mentality, which we want to specifically strengthen in our squad.

“We are convinced that he will bring us a lot of joy at Eintracht," explained the club's sporting director Timmo Hardung.
