Noah Mbamba will leave Bayer Leverkusen on a third loan after extending his contract at the club until June 2029. The 21-year-old will spend the 2026/27 season at Ligue 1 side Lorient.
Fellow youngster Abdoulaye Faye played at Lorient last season after completing his move to Leverkusen from BK Häcken. The Senegalese now joins Europa League participants Celta Vigo as the next step in Leverkusen’s plans of preparing him for Bundesliga football.
Leverkusen currently have loanees at six clubs, including Francis Onyeka at fellow Bundesliga club Elversberg. The Belgian all-rounder Mbamba failed to keep FCV Dender EH in the Pro League as they got relegated via the playoff.
